Toledo is a modern designer exploring the intersection that span the fields of sound, architecture, sculpture, and graphic design.  As an electronic composer, he focuses on the natural environment as a sound source and explores the potential of data to create a fabric of immersive audio - the relationship of the two creates a sculptural anatomy that is both physical and mentally intense, moving, and structural.  

He studied Landscape Architecture at Pennsylvania State University and worked alongside internationally acclaimed New York based L.A. firms Hollander Design and Madison Cox, designing and producing elaborately detailed landscapes of enduring beauty within estates, villas, gardens, vineyards, golf courses and private rooftop gardens.

While living in New York City, he and fellow Landscape Architect, Nathan Howe, formed the electronic duo SUIT in 2000.  They created seven albums and founded KM - a platform for displaying and creating cutting edge audio and curating events weaving together audio, video, and sound installation.

He performs live, and designs electronic compositions for dance & theater companies, and solo performers.  His work has been heard at the Brooklyn Museum, Diapason Gallery, Tonic, Millennium Film, Anthology Film Archives, B.P.M., Repetti Gallery, MonkeyTown, Conduit Dance Inc, Headwater’s Theatre, Studio 2@Zoomtopia, Director's Park, Lincoln Performance Hall, and CoHo Theatre among others.

In 2008, Toledo joined the Brooklyn, NY based dance company LEIMAY for the Joyce SoHo premier of Antigones [2008] , Ximena Garnica’s solo Trace of Purple Sadness [2009], and her ensemble pieces Alive 1 [2009], Becoming [2010], Uncovering [2011], and Becoming- Corpus [2013]. His work has been presented with LEIMAY at BAM [Brooklyn Academy of Music], the Japan Society, Joyce SoHo, CAVE, Dance New Amsterdam, Movement Research at Judson Church, The Roger Smith Hotel, Carnegie Mellon University, New Hazlett Theater, Theatro Dallas, and has toured Colombia - South America, Mexico, Texas, and Pennsylvania.

He has collaborated extensively with dancer and choreographer Stephanie Lanckton since 2009, developing original soundscapes for six of her solo dance performances. Their production, Amaranthine Beginnings, was created through a 6 month artist residency at Studio2 Zoomtopia, and premiered at the Dance + Performance Festival 2013 at Conduit Dance Inc. in Portland Oregon.  Their work REVIVIFY premiered at Conduit Dance Inc. at the Dance + Performance Festival 2014.  They continue to unravel artistic endeavors through dance performances, workshops combining Butoh and Noguchi Taiso, experimental films, and a continuous outdoor training and movement series called Sunset Sessions.  Sunset Sessions is guided by the changing time of the sunset as it shifts through the seasons and allows the movement to connect with the earth and its natural rhythms.
